Here’s the link to the latest version of the Dungeonmans Summer Preview!

(Right click and save as!) http://www.dungeonmans.com/dungeonmans105b.zip

The build is Windows only and uses XNA. If you need the XNA binaries they are here!

This a pre-alpha preview of a game in active development! There will be bugs, missing assets, and incomplete features! But there will also be plenty of monsters to crush and loot to be scooped up by the handful.

Please take advantage of the in-game Feedback window and send in your thoughts, observations, bug reports, or other ideas. Development of the preview build will be ongoing for the next few weeks, check for updates often!

Latest updates and patch notes can be found here: http://www.dungeonmans.com/?page_id=290

  1. I really love this. Great job MANs!

So many little aspects of this RogueLike I love. Choosing to re-roll stats damns the name of the character to forever not be a DungeonMans. I’ve played like 10 games so far!

  2. Protip – use the bow. It’s godly.

  3. Very nice so far. This game sorta reminds me of favorite old C64 game called Telengard. Pretty dam addictive for sure. I’ve made it to player level 4. I achieved this while exploring Temple of Riddles. Love the music from Zircon.
    Looking forward to updates!!

Great job so far team Dungeonmans!

  4. BAcked this game on kickstarter. Looks like it has potential. However, is there any chance the game can be controlled entirely with the mouse? Using a keyboard is difficult for me due to arthritis. IF not I sadly don’t think I will ever be able to play it. Good luck though no matter how its controlled.

    • Thank you for your backing! The plan eventually is to have full control via Mouse or Keyboard. Right now it’s keyboard only because that was easier to implement in the time I had.

  5. I downloaded the Xna and the files but when i run it it crashes. What do i do?!?!?
